periodic table
@iTeachChem how should i go about learning the periodic table ? group wise period wise etc. just learn it by "reading it" or mnemonics? and is there a need to learn it? my teacher says you should know it by heart when you write mains

i mean learning it seems to help alot with ioc
wouldn't it be convenient to have a periodic table in your mind to refer to
wiat what it should right? just remember memnomics for every block and use magic number to get atomic number
Imo learn it my group and period wise will just come to ur mind
Bc usually if they ask order and stuff they prefer group wise
give it time.
when you do p block automatically you will recall a lot of it
not useful
better to know exceptions in every group
which will happen automatically once you go through the text over 2 years :)
wb for periodic classification
whatever is in ncert, try and recall
solve all qs, including exemplar ones :D
ncert doesn't cover alot in periodic
the qs will talk about things
like o having the least ega in its group etc
compared to coaching notes and the type of questions they ask
bruh
you asked, i am telling you
now it is up to you :D
coaching is rot
your focus is jee main, uske liye this works the best
apologies if this soudns blunt
Fair enough, thanks
but coachings do not do justice to students preparing for jee main or neet, their stuff is outdated
even for advanced, in fact :D
For instance it does not even talk about lanthanide actinide contraction which is standard stuff
khair, try this out
this is there in d and f block :)
ooh
as i said, give it time, read the whole of ncert, nothing will come outside ncert, lab manual or exemplar in jee main or neet
baaki aapke upar hai
how you wanna tackle it
hmm aight
