if you want to use dh 2.1.3+, use 1.21(minecraft version)
or maybe some of your mods don't support 1.21
1.21 supports iris 1.8.0
my mods this in 1.20.4
if your mods uses 1.20.4, have you tried 1.21?
1.20.4 mods have practically no chance of working on 1.21

Unfortunately, no. 1.8 is going for 1.21 and above with the exception of 1.20.1 for mod compatibility.
