Best game server hosting software?

Hello, what do you guys recommend as server hosting software for hosting owners? What do you recommend to build on, Pelican, Ptero? etc.

That depends on which kind of server you are building and how comfortable you are with systems administration. Do you want to build a mini game network? Kubernetes is your friend. Do you want simple persistent servers like SMP or SkyBlock? Pterodactyl is great Are you comfortable with Sysadmin? Skip the panel and try live the DevOps live with Git versioning and CI/CD pipelines

I’m just cooking a bare bones ubuntu server through cli and ssh, works fine enough for me I don’t necessarily need a webui for things, all the restarts and stuff can be scheduled through crontab, and there really isn’t anything for me to manually manage Like what mcmdev said, it depends on your personal preferences

well, what i need is to be able to give people a web panel after they buy from us pelican seems to be a good option for now i guess

As a hoster you should probably use Pterodactyl with the WHMCS/Blesta modules and custom modifications And ideally do more research before you start. I wouldn't give me much confidence if my hoster learns how to run his operation from the Admincraft discord
