I like Janji or Brooks Sherpa shorts. I also have Under armour speedpocket shorts (not made anymore) that have good pockets and don't slide (front and back pocket)

I like my LL Bean Supplex shorts as a cheaper alternative to baggies. I wear them for 5/10k runs and they do fine for 50mi on a bike too.
