Distant Horizons creates huge log files again and again neoforge
I am using version 2.1.3 of Distant Horizons with Iris Sodium, and when I join a server, Minecraft creates log files in the folder that are 15 to 20 GB in size. Even if I delete them, it creates new files again in 10 minutes. What should I do? My Minecraft version is 1.21 with Neoforge

The the log spam only happens with Distant Horizons enabled or?
:thinkies:
Now that you mention it, I should probably check out the logs folder in my Minecraft instances
If you have this specific debug option enabled in Distant Horizons, you will be log spam to the moon and back.

Enabled

Time to go and disable this option then.
Advance settings > Debug, disable anything that's enabled.
Okay i will check and let you know
Everything was already disabled

Peculiar.
Should i keep the renderer mode default or disabled?
If that's a debug option, you do want to keep it disabled.
I have been playing for a week and there wasn't any issue before
does it happen with only distant horizons enabled? That is, without sodium and iris
Yes
I m using version 2.1.3 by the way
then it's not an iris-related issue and you should report to the Distant Horizons server https://discord.gg/Py6Ps8Mvwb
Sorry i didn't read the message correctly. Yes, distant horizon is enabled when there's a problem and i m using iris and sodium (neoforge)
see if it happens with ONLY distant horizons
Ok. I'll confirm and let you know
I have checked, it is creating log files immediately upon trying to render the distant horizon both in the launcher and in the Minecraft folder
Any solutions?
.
I found out from the Distant Horizons discord server, they told me the issue has been identified it occurred in the latest iris sodium alpha build. They told me that we need to wait for the new alpha release 🤔
