cant open installer
i seem to have messed up and cant open the installer (didnt have java, installed it but now cant seem to find the correct app to launch it) could anybody help?

either use a custom mod laucnher or use fabric or forge with the official mc launcher
You have to own minecraft
trying ffabric still doesnt allow me to use the iris installer
Don't use the iris installer just get it off modrinth
doesnt work either, similar issue as i cant seem to select the correct java program to open the file

I don't see why you wouldn't use the iris installer if there isn't an unfixable/difficult to fix issue with it like the metadata error
