Pattern Recognition isn't one my favs of his, but he's an amazing writer, and I still vividly remember his writing about clothing in that book, even after more than a decade.

If you are just looking to get the garment because of the way it looks then a repro is a great option. I’m unfortunately a vintage enthusiast so i must have the real thing or it wont feel the same because my brain is broken

I think one of my grails currently is a off white linen summer suit with wide, slightly padded shoulders. Prefferably a db. There is a very nice version of this rtw by edward sexton. But Im trying to spend less on clothes so a 2k suit is completely out of the question.
