1.20.1 crash / Cannot invoke "it.unimi.dsi.fastutil.longs.LongArrayList.getLong(int)" because "this.
the game crashes a few moments after loading into the world (singleplayer)
i have already generated the world with chunky on a server and downloaded it to singleplayer, have been generating LODs for a few hours now on 4092 distance, medium quality and i have paid for the whole cpu preset
its been generating just fine, sql file is around 900mb with no swiss cheese or any errors in chat but now crashes soon after i load the world

seems somehow related to modernfix #466, removing modernfix fixes the crash

You could try making a backup of the world, then try joining the world with just DH. If that works, it is probably some mod causing this.
Dont forget the backup though, as joining the world without some mods could break the world
yeah im aware, surely its trying to build lod for something from a mod it doesnt like
is there a debug mode to get more info of whats going on
Maybe, although I don't think I see DH mentioned in the crash right? So it might be a completely different issue all together
Yes, but I forgot where in dh's settings you can turn it on
ill try it with dh only and see
And I'm not anywhere near my pc so I can't check for you
Alright
but still isnt it.unimi.dsi.fastutil.longs.LongArrayList.getLong(int) a DH method?
Why do you think so?
I'm not a dev so it very well could be lol
ok quick questions is DH known to have issues with quark
I heard something about quark a while back, but I forgot if that was positive or negative. Let me dig in previous messages
Yea I still don't know
So my answer will be: no as far as I remember
ill first try without quark then with only DH
bruh
issue persists with quark removed
update i went after a hunch and removed modernfix, it fixed the issue
