Nvidia-Gnome Stable: Monitors don't sleep / standby after screen locks or goes blank
Experiencing new behaviour in the last 2 weeks - my monitors will not go into standby after the display goes blank. DE is Gnome, and version is latest (Nvidia GPU). Any tips to restore the monitors going into standby after inactvitity?

Only happens when HDMI monitor is connected. When only a single display port monitor is used it works fine
