Wedding Suit Help (shirt & tie)
My wedding is in 2 months, and I have a dark green suit for the occasion. My fiancee is going to be rocking an incredible lilac ball gown she's making herself, and I want to step up to her level, but having only recently gotten into mens fashion I'm hoping for some advice.
What colors/styles would you recommend for a shirt, and would you recommend some kind of tie/bowtie? I'm totally down for more daring combinations, I'm just concerned about my skill in picking them myself. Down to buy or have something custom made.
Took some photos of the suit in question with two different undershirt examples (white cotton and green linen). Neither of these shirts would actually be used for the wedding, but I could get something similar.

My advice? Keep it simple and let your fiancée and her dress get all the attention.
It's your wedding, so you can decide how formal or non-formal you want it to be. But since your fiancee puts in a lot of effort, I'd agree with @myownmoses. Dress up formal (keep it simple, not lazy), go with the elegant, more subtle options and let your fiancee shine.
Shirt: DEFINITELY white cotton. Given your suit is already green, a green shirt wouldn't pair well. Also, if your wedding is in two months, its gonne be around October. Linen however always gives of a very casual, summery vibe imo. White dress shirt is the standard for a wedding, its more formal, goes waaayyy better with your suit and fits the season and occasion. Cufflinks (silver, white gold or mother of pearl) would be appropriate here.
Tie/Bowtie: You should definitely wear either of the two, personally I'd always prefer a tie. Silver goes well with green, as does brown do. Grenadine ties are a great way to keep it subtle but not too boring due to the texture. Shibumi Firenze and Sera Fine Silk have some great options.
