U will take 4T for man tho, if it is T for man then it would be t t/2 t/4

hey @Ishizora i sae your solution and i have done the same thing as well and obtained same values of T a and b , the main doubt here is what force is the man exerting, T,4T or 7t
man being at rest wrt platform will only have to exert the force which is not balanced out just by the normal
normal acting on the man is 3T which leaves T as the force to be applied in order for man to be at rest wrt platform
