No playerdata after running world in SP
I'm trying to have a world download for my players and I seem to be having an issue with playerdata.
After archiving my world, it seems like the playerdata is nonexistent even though it's clearly in the folder. https://azrian.is-dumb-as.rocks/i/QxnWZN (on the saved world now)
My host thinks that my playerdata is being stored elsewhere, but I do not think any of my plugins store data.. at least from what I can see. These are my plugins: https://azrian.is-dumb-as.rocks/i/uLZUQM
I would also like to note, that I merged the nether and end back into the singleplayer world, if that has to do with anything.
TLDR
My players inventories are reset upon joining the singleplayer world (formerly server), and they are teleported back to spawn.

Idk what SP is, but if its a multiworld plugin, usually the playerdata and anything except entities & regions are saved in only one world, which is the one defined in server.properties
Single player. And I didn't have any multi world plugins
I combined the end and nether back into my overworld
OOH
So theres no data after putting the world from mp to sp? Or from sp to mp?
If you played sp on crack then loaded it on a mp premium server that might be why
OR if you played on a cracked server and wanna play it on premium sp
So the playerdata isnt the same, is the world the same when your in game?
yes the world is the same, and all the playerdata from the server and in the world folder are the same
^^
it's just, it's not showing up.
so the files are there?
its just not ingame?
yes
correct
? @Azrian
i don't do cracked
ok good
well, i'm not sure..
lemme think
is the sp world and the mp server same version? if not mention both of them
yes it's both the same version, same world
just with the singleplayer one, the only difference is i made the end/nether accessible again by bringing the DIM folders back in
anything in the multiplayer console?
whats the server type?
my focus is getting a world download to players, so i'm not talking about the multiplayer server anymore.
so the type would be vanilla
Is the level name in server.properties the same as the world?
yes it was, but now i no longer have a server.properties
https://azrian.is-dumb-as.rocks/i/oTRssT this is what i have
That is inside the world folder, you need to go back to the main file and server.properties is required regardless but you want to ensure if the world file is named for example
chicken
that the is level-name: chicken
in server.properties or whatever the name iscan confirm that on the server it was the world name https://azrian.is-dumb-as.rocks/i/94DsWH
but now i'm trying to have my inventories for people on single player
single player has a seperate inventory to multiplayer
as in, the singleplayer owner of the world is seperate from the same player connecting to a server
so how do people get their inventories back?
Did you try creating a new single player world from scratch, launch it to load spawn, quit game, open single player game files, delete world files, copy over server world files?
@Azrian
Unless they run the world on a server of their own, they can't really
afaik
You could upload the player data files to a Google drive and give them read access and they can find their own player data files
sad, i'll figure something out i guess
