LOD chunks not being shaded
Currently using Complimentary, LOD chunks dont appear to be shaded, same with water.
I've fiddled with the settings and I've found the option to change the LOD shader (I think) but it will only give me Minecraft/Old lighting/None.

This issue is consistent between complimentary, BSL and Bliss
Water transition between real chunk and DH chunks are somewhat difficult to make it look nice. I am curious as to how Bliss look like though.
Solution

Seems that the weird color horizon is gone and it shades correctly, but there are some artifacts here and there
Those should eventually fix itself
Turn cpu load up in Dh's settings to speed that up
