If it feels like LoD generation with
Distant Generator
is too slow:
Try increasing CPU Load
in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU.
To see if Distant Generator
is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive
settings of CPU Load
. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.

i got these mods idk if any of them affects dh
Ksyxis is known to crash with dh and the game in general
But everything else should be fine
alr let me remove that rq
same thing
Are you using a shader from here
It’s a list of working shaders
i was using bliss shaders but i tried to remove it and it worked
Download this bliss: https://github.com/X0nk/Bliss-Shader/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
ok it worked but what with these reflections tho
Restart the game and don’t change dh settings while shaders are enabled
also one more thing
why the render speed so slow tho
i mean i got an old graphic card but its slower than i expected
It uses vanilla chunk generation and that is slow
It gets slower the more chunks you have

2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe
, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering
and Show World Gen Queue
to True
.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)aggressive is still kinda slow but its better now
appreciate it
Don’t forget to do this
