AS55577 High ping on Singapore servers and occasional rubber banding , packet loss
I have been getting 140 ping on Singapore servers and 20-24 ping on Mumbai servers, along with occasional rubber banding and packet loss .
Ideal Ping that I used to get are
Mumbai : 13-17ms (no packet loss)
Singapore: 40-48ms ( no packet loss)
ISP : ACT fibernet
ASN : AS55577

Hi, there isnt much we can do here, if you are having packet loss you need to report this to your ISP. There is an average of 24ms but I can see there was plenty of packet loss around July 20th which seems be gone now
Oh ok. What about the latencies to Singapore servers? Is that something normal, cause around 2 months ago I was getting a decent 48-50ms then all of a sudden it jumped to 300s and then dropped to 140s
Singapore servers are outside of your region so we cant really optimize for those. It will depend on your ISP to do their part and see what can they optimize on their end
Otherwise imagine if we had to optimize every region for every country

me and my friends play on mumbai we got 20ms but got 200ms in game
and the enemies too

apparently the whole indian subcontinent had this high ping for a couple of minutes

it's mostly fixed for everyone as of now
yeah sounds like India internet got hit hard, there are other services(Uber, Udemy, etc.) that experienced outages, but it only lasted about 30minutes

@Riot Lag Lassoer Ok so the maintenance probably fixed all the servers (Singapore is on 48 and mumbai is on 70) except at the cost of mumbai servers which has risen by quite a bit (20 to 80) with packet loss and ping spikes. It was perfect with a stable 20 ping since yesterday . I assume the mumbai servers will be back on their original latencies once the maintenance is done
nvm a router reboot brought back the ping to 19
but the singapore servers seem to be fixed
