How do y'all take nice photos?
Do you use a tripod? Digital camera? Phone camera? Just curious what your methods are

the easiest method is to prop up your phone somewhere, set a timer and use the front camera
Phone camera + Bluetooth shutter
I have a cheap tripod which sucks but yeah
My last waywt I just propped it up on a shelf in a hotel and clicked my $3 Bluetooth shutter
my front camera sucks though, but until my banking app starts telling me my OS is not secure anymore i will stick with this device
Lighting is probably the single most important thing honestly
Take multiple photos and auto and pick the best one
Phone in cup, brilliant
Oh yeah I take like 60 pictures before I find one I like most of the time because I’m stupid and have bad lighting
Same, multiple attempts. Multiple times counting down from ten in my head to avoid making a dumb face when the photo happens
Occasionally you get the right pic first time though and that's great feeling
I'm a pretty crappy photographer, so for the most part I just don't take good pics. As long as it's a reasonable depiction of what I'm wearing it's ok. I use my cell phone on max zoom, and I either ask my wife to snap a pic or use a mini tripod.
My phone (pixel 7) has a feature that lets me hold the palm of my hand up to start the timer, which is handy (lol)
It just so happens my phone stands upright on its own in it's case so I just stand it up on my desk and use a remote trigger. If I'm out I use the self timer and hope no one sees me
Someone here tipped me off to an app called Lens Buddy that takes photos at a set interval once you start it, so I just prop my phone up and have it do a shot every 2 seconds for a minute then spend 1-2 hours picking out the best one.
yeah lens buddy is great
they tried to add watermarks earlier in the summer and gave up pretty fast lol
