Not Kick when Add Ban into a "None/Log Action Ban List"
We have a ban list that has Default Action: "Log. Will only log that the player is banned instead of enforcing the ban."
However, when we "add ban" a player to this ban list, he/she will get kicked if still on the server.
Is there away to avoid this?

I don't think so, cause the command is run when you hit command Then adds it to the list.
If BM did it the other way, the player would stay on the server till after the ban is added to the list creating a delay.
Will it be a thing? since the action is there for the ban list. What if that (Log Action) ban list is selected, then there is no kick? just for that ban list?
Possible. But might require BM recoding a bit.
Cause technically the Add Ban page doesn't know what the ban list action is.
I'm trying to understand the use case for this though.
We found a very powerful way to use a BanList as a WhiteList, and it is working as a champ. The problem is every time we add somebody in the whitelist, they got kicked and got timeout 120s, super bummer.
So we normally wait until they left and add, but sometime this got lost after admins thought the other admins going to do it.
This allows us to not use other whitelist tools, or log to hosting panel, and focus 100% on BM, also allows us to tighten the whitelist reward to some triggers. Everybody in our admin loves it, just a simple a ban to add to the whitelist, with note, time duration, and the audit system build-in. We can’t survive without it anymore.
Well that's all I can suggest.
I don't think BM will change the process, as it could delay important bans being issued, due to checks for ban list data.
I myself prefer not to have a delay if I'm trying to remove a cheater
