In my experience, loafers can be a little unforgiving because there are no laces to tighten or loosen. But I'm not sure how a guide would help. I bought loafers from Rancourt and used their sizing guide. The sizing guide worked for me. What specifically are you concerned about?

Basically I bought Loafers from Myrqvist and I'm having difficulty putting them on Once they are on they do actually fit relatively well if a bit tight width wise

Yeah, they may be a bit tight initially, but it should get better as you break them in. Just use a shoehorn for now. Yeah, this sounds just like my loafers when I first got them.

I really like a shoe horn for all of my laceless stuff

I already have one although I may also buy a shorter one. It was a big help Btw. The loafers are from Myrqvist and they seem pretty nice to me

Have you ever had your foot measured with a brannock device

yeah. I'm a 12.5 picked true to size here and half a size down for Redwings
