m65 sizing length
A local shop has this medium long m65 that I’ve tried on on two occasions now. I kinda love it but the price is bogus, so I’m wondering if I should be searching online for another in the same length or if I should go for medium regular (or short) instead. I like the oversized look but I know these are already very roomy and don’t want to land at a weird in esteren length (not a regular fit but not long enough to look right/intentional). I’m 5’9” for reference. Go long or scale it back to regular length?

Looks good, gives it more of a Barbour vibe rather than typical m65 tho
Might be sacrilegious but I like it!
i like the length as is personally
an m-61 might also be a viable option if you can't find a decently priced m-59
Idk if viable, but I suppose that M65 are mostly costly due to the hype?
if so, I’d propose check surplus of other nations uniform
All field jackets share main cut features imo
Thanks y'all. I think I'm feeling the length too, and knowing myself I'm typically happiest with jackets that are either cropped or oversized, so I might enjoy the longer fit here
This is a good tip, I appreciate it. I've seen some Dutch and Finnish jackets pop up in my searches that look cool too
