which versions of dh and iris are you using
make sure you got the latest version of bsl shaders as well, support was added somewhat recently
iris 1.7.2 and dh 2.1.2-a 1.20.1
im using bliss shaders there all at the most recent versions
these are the mods im using
ah misread it
make sure you got bliss from https://discord.com/channels/774352792659820594/1204164311287734314
it's in the pins inside that thread
im on curseforge
idk if that is making the problem work
or happen
you can add shaders manually
i cant england
oh
bliss' DH support is still kinda wonky i think it's still in alpha
so the version of bliss on curseforge lacks DH support
ive tried 20 shaders none of them work
and even without the shaders the lods dont load
/slowgen
If it feels like LoD generation with
Distant Generator
is too slow:
Try increasing CPU Load
in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU.
To see if Distant Generator
is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive
settings of CPU Load
. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.
2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe
, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering
and Show World Gen Queue
to True
.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)could be slow gen
no like they dont load at all
can you send a screenshot of your f3 menu
this is what shows when i dont have shaders on and when i do have them on
I had it on i paid for the whole cpu to see if it did anything
cpu might just be too overloaded to generate LODs, try capping the framerate lower and setting the cpu load to aggressive
you can tell if LOD rendering is working at all by setting your vanilla render distance to 2
okay
are my specs powerful enough to run idk like 1028 lods
at 1080p yes
with shaders it depends on the pack and settings but it should work fine at the medium quality preset
it'll just take eons to generate all the LODs (possibly several days)
oh
without shaders it works
but with them it doesnt
or atleast the lods dissapear when i go like 2 blocks away from them cuz im flying around and theres missing chunks
odd
