add sounds to Minecraft on the go without resource packs
I would love to add ambient FX to random places in buildings (e.g. imagine there's a lab & you add a FX to a machine, or there's an automated door & you make it play a FX like an industrial door irl) is there a way to do that? I'm planning to do so in modded platforms.

check out the simplevoicechat mod
they have an addon where you can add sounds to music discs, and play them in a jukebox, and they're normal jukeboxes so you can interact with em using redstone
