Suit pair with gold tie dilemma

Hi there! I’m attending a friends wedding around a week from now as one of the groomsmen and we are all wearing a gold tie.

Specifically, it’s this one:

I was recently gifted my first and only pair of a linen suit and matching trousers:

The issues I’m facing are:

1) I’m not sure if this color would match well with the suit

2) The groom is wearing a white tux and I feel like it’s a bit taboo to wear something close to his color

Any advice/recommendations from yall? I have a dark brown skin tone (can post pics if needed)

I'm not sure you really need to worry about some gigantic faux pas given that the groomsmen are wearing $10 ties. (I don't mean that as a criticism of the couple's choices...just that maybe you don't need to be overly worried about offending them)

yeah, those are going to be safer, more conservative colors. But getting a new suit in a week is not easy, and it will cost you.

^^ yep it’s a gold tie, doesn’t necessarily have to be the one in the link tho

He just gave that option to be budget friendly — it can be any gold tie or variation of it as long as it’s mostly gold in color
