Battery draining when suspended
Hello, I noticed a big difference in battery draining between two different computers. My Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 uses very little battery when suspended, making suspension usable and effective. However, with my girlfriend's PC, the battery drains so quickly when suspended that it consumes almost 10% per hour. She has an MSI Cyborg 15 A12V. I suspect the GPU might be responsible, but I don't have the technical skills to test this. Can someone help me?

Failed suspend is the reason
If the fan keeps running
It didn't suspend properly
OK, I'm going to try and test if the fans continue spinning when it should be suspended or not. If this is the case, how can I solve the problem?
I tried and it was, in fact, a failure on suspend; the fan never stopped spinning. What should I do?
yeah sorry i didnt reply
its hell to fix
my laptop started doing it today as well, on a completely different distro
What's the kernel version? Suspend isn't working on my desktop since a recent update
Lts 6.6.37 seems
Good to hear 😅 as far as you know, is it possible to activate hybernatiom insthead of suspension? Maybe a more aggressive approach could fix that?
