Stripe multiple product or multiple prices
My saas has 3 different prices, weekly, monthly and yearly. Should I creat 3 different products in stripe or one product with different 3 prices. I never did it before, so sorry if it sounds stupid.....

Hi @Stefan Vitória. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base. :wave:

Based on the information available in the knowledge sources, it seems that you can create one product with multiple prices in Stripe. This is suggested by the discussion in the Discord support thread titled "Cant find: src/shared/constants.ts file? Stripe connect. > Answers Part 4", where a community member mentioned creating a product with two prices.
However, the exact implementation details or best practices for this scenario are not explicitly discussed in the provided knowledge sources. Therefore, I would recommend checking Stripe's official documentation or seeking further advice from the Wasp community or Stripe support for a more definitive answer.
Here is the relevant extract from the knowledge sources:
Community Member 235:Seems both products is using the second more expensive price i added, I made a product with 2 prices. 5eur and 9 eur, but it only uses 9 euro on both products. How do i set this?Source: Discord support thread: Cant find: src/shared/constants.ts file? Don't worry though, I've pinged my support and they will try to fix me up! :technologist: Perhaps try again in 15mins?
@Vinny (@Wasp) one for you
I'm not sure about this one, to be honest. But I would assume creating 3 separate products will always work
Did you do any research on this? Let us know what you find! 🙂
I would personally check Stripe docs, but quick answer from GPT:
yeah that makes sense
Thank you guys. That's what I did.
Now I am having another issue. When testing stripe in the client, I am getting a bad request error, I have no clue 😅 of what is happening, the I changed there was the styles kkkk, it's from opensaas. And some error related to Stripe tax has not been activated....
Wel I changed something and it worked. It was definitely related to the Stripe Tax. Not going to worry to much with it for now. Try to finish every set up first and I will try understand to understand how to better config the tax on Stripe, it's pricing and stuff
@Stefan Vitória if you learn something that we could improve on the OpenSaas side, let us know. As for tax, we know some users had issues, for exmample in India it requres different settings for it to work.
Yeah i will.
In my case i don't know if it was because of the region because stripe didn't mention nothing about it. Also I don't think it has something to do with opensaas. I basically turn it on o stripe.
By the way, my region is Praia, Cape Verde. The only issu is that I can't receive payments from stripe from here, but I fix it already
