About how long does it take to load the LOD for like 258 to 320 chunks on aggressive?

👍 i was going to assume that was the reason since that chunk was loaded and with DH it gets loaded, but i wanted to make sure
Yup, those are the spawn chunks that DH has already generated and are within your DH render distance, so they stay loaded
ah alr thanks. one more quick question, should i pregenerate like 5k - 10k or 15k chunks or would that mess anything up with DH
yes it will mess with DH, better to not do that and just use DH

as for the time it takes, it heavily depends on your cpu

Chunky is known to cause LODs to turn into swiss cheese and bloat up world size, as can be seen in the attached screenshot.
We recommend you enable "Distant Generation" in Distant Horizons' settings and wait.
If you actually want to pre-generate vanilla chunks along with LOD data, disable Distant Horizons, wait for chunky to finish, then re-enable Distant Horizons.
