Can I physically offset my DH data (up)? (voiced vid attached)
adding infinity caves 'increased' world height, now DH is using the new bottom of y=-128 as the origin rather than y=0, so everything dipped downwards

not easily no, i dont know how you could. you would probably need to write a custom program for that
the easies fix would be to delete and regenerate your sqlite files
/lodstored
Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
would that mean restarting from the ground up? (this is a multiplayer world)
also, datapacks like these that change bottom height are becming super popular; would it be possible to start lod building at y=0 as opposed to -64? if thats how it works?
(for a future update ofc)
*ive deleted my data
Unfortunately yes
done and dusted 😓
just dealing with this now #Sudden issue of bare trees and cave-shaped holes in LODs
While a dh option to render chunks at an off-set could be added, that would create a lot of problems with chunks that are still at -64 and chunks that are updated already
oookay
what if u loaded a new world?
this issue makes no sense
im usng infinity caves too, though since i have reterrafoged installed those issues dont exist
this was extended here #Incompatible w/ Infinity Cave (voiced vid attached)
thats effectively what i did
the issue is that the datapck was added after the fact
i see.
