Buying casual shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt

I'm gonna stock up on casual shirts and Charles Tyrwhitt seems to have the best cost to quality ratio I've seen. Problem is I'm pretty muscular and their sizes don't fit me perfectly. I'm 110cm chest, 90cm waist and 82cm sleeve. Their measurements for chest and waist fit me decently but the sleeve is 8cm too long. Will it fit?

As someone who once did what you're about to do, don't do it. There are just so many better options out there. What exactly are you looking for? Their stuff is all very basic business-like clothes I bought a half dozen or so shirts from them and I wish I had spent that money elsewhere on better shirts. I'd point you to spier and mackay to take a look at their offerings. Their sale prices are better than tyrwhitts

Where is Spier based? I live in Iceland but have a relative in the UK that can deliver stuff for me.

CT is nice since it's based in the UK and there's no extra shipping cost when I order to my relatives

Can't seem to find any comparisons online

Not really. Spier just does a specific style that some people like. Both are cheaper shirts that are made ok from ok fabrics.

That's honestly what I'm looking for, something decent I can wear daily without burning a hole in my wallet.

I own both and the difference between the two is huge to me. CT linen is rough and scratchy. SM is soft and smooth Collars on CT are tiny and their shirts are plain

what is your budget per shirt?

Only good thing I can say about CT is that you can send their stuff back really easily once you look at it. Jokes aside. I think CT shirts are maximally uninspired. Its really easy to get shirts of comparable quality in a thrift store for a fraction of the price.

That' s honestly where convenience plays in. I live in Iceland so decent inexpensive clothes are few and far between. I'm considering CT because a relative can pick then up from the UK and deliver them to me without exorbitant tolls and shipping costs.

“That's the CT shirt” Indeed, I am agreeing with you! The only CT I’ve ever encountered are used while thrifting so they may not be representative, but I do associate them with a boring, business casual shirt based on that

spier and mackay is very cheap when their shirts are on sale; i’d guess shipping to iceland is another $20-$30, so roughly the same as a ct shirt
