I feel a bit dumb, but how on earth can I get Freeboard-SK to receive data from the SK server? I can see the default OpenSeaMap just fine, but no vessel data is shown. Checking with the Chrome dev tools, the app accesses a bunch of resources just fine and even opens the websocket stream, continuously receiving a ton of data, but nothing is displayed.

Got it. The installed webapp was at 2.8.4 but somehow the frontend reported 2.9.0. Once I updated the webapp, everything works.

The webapps included in the server install are a bit confusing, as version x gets installed as part of server install and updates at .signalk/node_modules, which have higher loading preference. But if you uninstall an updated one it does not uninstall totally, but reveals the server installed one
So versions can be a bit off
