How to switch Multiplayer Host?

The only guides I can find are completely outdated. I tried just copying the host's Multiplayer save folder into mine but the saves didn't appear in game (no option to 'continue' as host). Also the player inventory data that we'd have to switch is now hidden somewhere inside a larger zip file.

Make a brand new save then save and exit the game after loading into it, from there find the new save in the files and copy the name then go to the save your host gave you and rename it to what you just copied and place it into the folder It should show up

There is an up to date guide in #frequently-asked❓ I'm not sure about the client data, should be somewhere in %USERDATA%\AppData\LocalLow\Endnight\SonsOfTheForest

Copying the entire multiplayer folder worked this time, thank you. I need to take player data from \MultiplayerClient[save number]\SaveData.zip and replace the files in \Multiplayer[save number]\SaveData.zip When I tried to do this the save disappears. So as an experiment I tried just extracting the original multiplayer SaveData.zip and then rezipping it without swapping any files. The save still disappeared. This tells me that I'm not creating the .zip file in a way that the game can read. Does anyone know the correct settings to use when creating the SaveData.zip file?

Try moving the contents So like the contents of playersavedata.json to playersavedata.json or whatever it's called, I think it's playerinventory.json
