singleplayer?
yes
as im flying the world is deleting itself
yea thats a side effect of moving fast when vanilla chunks loading cant keep up
you can try tweaking overdraw prevention in your shader's settings for that, if your shader has that setting
anyway, for the first issue:
/slowgen
If it feels like LoD generation with
Distant Generator
is too slow:
Try increasing CPU Load
in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU.
To see if Distant Generator
is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive
settings of CPU Load
. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.
2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe
, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering
and Show World Gen Queue
to True
.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)can you try the second part of the second part to see where it is generating new chunks?
all my chunks are loaded i have 0 world gen tasks left
oh
that is really weird
have you tried restarting minecraft?
yea
so it just refuses to render a big chunk of world
thats really strange
i have chunky and dh and noisium installed
could be a chunky issue, although i doubt it
techtonic and terralith too
chunky + DH can create weird LODs
would it be bad if you needed to regenerate the LODs?
prob not
but then my cpu will start overheatibg
a cpu cant overheat
it can thermal trottle, if thats what you mean
yea that
then you should have a lower cpu load
wb ccme mod
what will that do if i install it
c2me?
it will only create more problems like chunky
so dont use it with DH
will i delete chunky
you should
done
then delete your sqlite file, so you can regenerate your LODs
/lodstored
Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
will do
its deleted
now what
now you can join the minecraft world again
and although you unfortunately will need to regenerate your LODs, it should generate everything correctly this time
i see
how do i regenerate lods
umm
You can't change settings with shaders turned on in game (at least on oculus+ bliss)
Okay never saw that before
nothing even loading now

should be generated automaticly. turn up cpu load to speed it up
i did
its on aggresive
nothings loading
try this
i have it on
can you see any blue or red boxes?
try teleporting up 1000 blocks to see it better
only in a new world
oh thats weird
can you send logs of when you try in your existing world?
/logsstored
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link.i will later keep this thread open#
i gotta go for awile
alright
On a server with my gf where I'm hosting shes having the same issue, tried all the exact steps and its the same tit for tat
0 tasks queued as well
Ah so i didnt see on the main page that if you join a multiplayer server that you have to explore the chunks themselves to load unlike singleplayer where it will generate lods without exploration.
She was having the issue on singleplayer as well but we resolved it by removing ferritecore and polytone
