1st) is this distance time graph, in that case how can distance be negative 2nd) how is avg speed max at interval 3? bcs its negative right??

It’s probably displacement time graph and hence why it can be negative and slope 3 has the greatest speed bc it is the steepest [the value of y/x will be most acc to diagram]

1. No, it's a displacement time graph. 2. Speed is mod velocity, and velocity is maximum at 3 because slope is maximum. Remember velocity is a vector, so the negative indicates that it is antiparallel to some conventional standard. Oh wait, I was wayy too late. hmm
