Shoe and Pants combo with Black Polo
For a work event, I’ll need to wear black polos. The nice shoes I have in my collection include black calf monkstraps, brown derbies (Armagnac shell cordovan) and a slightly lighter brown pair of service boots in calf.
With these choices, what pants options might you recommend and with what shoes? I’m weary of mixing black and brown, but would prefer to wear the brown shoes if I can make it work!
For pants options, I’m considering a mid blue jean, salmon linen chinos or grey or teal slacks, but I’m open to suggestions!

The amount of available combinations sounds limited. Frankly I would just put stuff on and see what you like most. If you are unsure between a few fits you can post them here for feedback.
Hard to say anything with pictures because stuff like cut etc also plays a role
Thanks! I should have been more clear, I’m open to purchasing pants that would fit with any of the shoes I own, but am less enthusiastic about buying shoes at this time just because they are a bigger ticket item
Really depends on the vibe you are going for. Also getting pics of the shoes would be helpful.

As for vibe, I guess I’d say smart casual? I don’t really know how to answer the question
A very conservative choice would be grey slacks, high waisted with pleats and the dark brown derbies

Good question. Jeans might work depending on the wash, but im not really firm on brogued derby + jeans interaction.
You propabyl have one or two pairs of jeans. I would recommend trying that and see how it looks
Only got one, it’s black with some white fades. Im interested in getting a higher end pair tho soon, either raw or mid blue
