Application failed to respond

My railway app is deployed and working on the generated domain but when i try to add a custom domain even though it says setup complete and has the green checkmark, I get railway error page application failed to respond. I am using cloudflares nameservers, proxy disabled and Universal SSL is disabled. Disable Universal SSL
