app menu doesnt work
i cant use the super key to open the app menu or i cant interact with the taskbar

Are you on GNOME or KDE?

Can you interact with the specific apps ON the taskbar?
Or is it all frozen?

rm ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc and relogging may remove the widget so you can remake iti dont want to do that
Always doesn't work or it stopped working at some point?
I had an issue where KDE froze. I had to disable the task bar "dodge windows / autohide" and it stopped freezing

i didnt change my taskbar

it worked for 10 minutes then it froze
Are you using X11 or Wayland?

Try going back to X11
but polumonium doesnt support x11
and i dont see the switcher in logout menu
only when ireboot
