To move your VALORANT installation to a different folder on your C: drive, follow these steps:
1. Close VALORANT and the Riot Client completely.
2. Navigate to the current VALORANT installation directory, usually
C:\Program Files (x86)\Riot Games
.
3. Copy the entire Riot Games
folder (or the VALORANT
folder if it's separate) to the new desired location on your C: drive.
4. Run the Riot Client. It may ask you to locate the installed game if it doesn't find it automatically. Direct it to the new location you moved the folder to.
5. Verify the game files through the Riot Client to ensure there are no missing or corrupted files.
This should ensure that all necessary files and dependencies are correctly recognized in the new location.
