update speed stupidity slow
Not sure what channel to put this in, but my update speed is crazy slow. I have good broadband (250mbps) but this update transfer is just ridiculous. especially when the total files to be transmitted are 90mb, it’s taken 1 hour to transmit 7mb and only received 1.1mb
What could be going on here ?

Yeah that's looks terrible, pick an access point with better signal
Are you sure it's supposed to be downloading stuff at this point, what exactly are you doing?
Right next to my gaming pc that works fine, and my router is only about 6m away
It was doing system updates
System os-packages
It says up to date , but it’s still transmitting data ?
This is what it’s at now
You're missing packages.
This version has been discontinued for over a year
It's probably because you're trying to update a several year old raspbian image that Raspberry Pi no longer maintains. I'm guessing there aren't any package mirrors left.
I just got the rat rig off a friend, he didn’t use it for a long time
My first time attempting anything with klipper
And not sure how to fix this issue?
There was updates, I clicked update, and now stuck haha
Also my klipper screen is stuck in a boot loop ffs
You reinstall the latest RatOS (2.1-RC1), instead of trying to salvage something that should've been killed over a year ago, and which is no longer supported.
Is my PI no longer supported ? Would I need to get a new up to date pi ?
Same with the screen if that’s old and can’t have the latest update?
No, just download the current RatOS 2.1 as Mikkl wrote, flash it on a SD card, place it into the pi and follow the instructions.
Ok I will attempt this tomorrow. Wish me luck
First time user hahaa
i can only find 2.02
2,1-RC1 is a prerelease, just click "Releases" and it'll show all of them

All good for set up now but getting this. Can you advise me again? @miklschmidt
You ran hard recovery, which is equivalent to "Hi Moonraker, please delete everything". You'll now have to run some scripts to restore the setup.
I know I’m probably being really annoying making mistakes and asking for help. I do appreciate your responses.
Can you imagine that I’ve never done anything like this before. I just got the printer from a friend and trying to set it up and I’m causing problems because I don’t really know what I’m doing.
The scripts I need to run, is it as simple as copying and pasting that above into the console command tab on ratOS ?
Sorry for my stupidity
Thanks again @miklschmidt
