These are my mods:
I also have the terratonic datapack
what shader and the version?
Complimentary Reimagined 5.2.1
Also remove chunky and c2me and just enable distant generation. DH already multi threads worldgen
I found that DH doesn't render distant chunks even when I have distant generation enabled
should work fine. in game screenshot?
I've got a feeling it's failing to write data to the sqlite /logsstored
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link.looks to be working, the holes are caused by c2me and maybe chunky
I'm not sure if this is related, but when I uninstall DH, and set my render distance to 128 chunks they render in fine; however, with DH installed they render in like this
how do you set your render distance to 128 without DH?
I'm assuming with one of the mods
Probably sodium, indium, lithium, or noisium?
However when I do that I obviously only get around 3 fps
can you just remove bobby and c2me, make a new world, set cpu load to something high like agressive, and see if it works
What is bobby?
Chunky?
sorry yea
mixed them up
i indeed meant chunky
The chunks seem to stop generating
Or they seem to be generating much slower
/slowgen
If it feels like LoD generation with
Distant Generator
is too slow:
Try increasing CPU Load
in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU.
To see if Distant Generator
is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive
settings of CPU Load
. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.
2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe
, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering
and Show World Gen Queue
to True
.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)you can try the second part
Okay
My cpu does go crazy during it, but the chunks generate very slow sadly
its normal for world gen to be slow
DH relies on minecraft's own world gen which is indeed slow
Yeah. Too bad chunky doesn't work with it
chunky also relies on minecraft's world gen
How come it's so much faster?
it doesnt have to convert the chunks to LODs
