[LOD LIGHT LEVEL ISSUE] ugly looking cave shadows. how to fix?
I have this issue where the light levels aren't smooth and blending well. they're instead just going from bright to dark. no inbetween. I'm using this floating island datapack and it is making this light level visual glitch even more apparent.
as i can see in some parts the lighting does look as desired. in this pic, the left side shadow is glitched, the other half is not.
is there a way to fix? how can i make the light levels smooth properly, in all LOD chunks?
I'm using rubidium + oculus + DH. the issue was also visible from an earlier fabric instance i tested some weeks ago.
I have an AMD computer.

to be easier to understand: the red arrow is where the light level is glitched. the green arrow is how the light level is supposed to look.

nice. if any observation or testing is needed, let me know
good news is that earlier ALL light maps were glitched. it is just in the most recent update that i tested that NOW i'm seeing some parts of the LOD chunks having the proper smooth light levels.
is there a workaround or something? I wish i could just disable the cave shadows for now.
@Brussel_sprouts sorry for the ping just want to let you know i replied.
wait where?
