Hi @Don Bugito. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

Hmm, I don't know enough to give you a confident answer yet. The provided knowledge sources do not contain information about an option to disable React strict mode in Wasp. I recommend checking the Wasp documentation (https://wasp-lang.dev/docs) or their Github repository (https://github.com/wasp-lang/wasp) for more information.

Sorry @Don Bugito, I seem to be having a bit of trouble. Don't worry though, I've pinged my support and they will try to fix me up! :technologist:
Perhaps try again in 15mins?
Right now we using React strict mode since it's the recommendation by the React team https://react.dev/reference/react/StrictMode#enabling-strict-mode-for-entire-app
Is there something you want to solve and that's why you need to disable it?

Just really annoying how API requests are repeated and done twice on strict mode
Wohooo @Don Bugito, you just became a Waspeteer level 1!
I get that it's best practice but would be nice to have option to disable it
