losing because of huge fps drop

I have lost so much rr because my laptop isnt the best, and when it gets a bit too hot (takes around 5 min in ranked) my fps drops from 60 to 15, and this is unplayable. I lose a lot because its basically a 4v5 which also means losing rr. and because of the rank reset, if this keeps happening i will get iron 1 while i should be silver or something

Dealing with FPS drops can be quite frustrating. Here are some steps you can try to improve your game's performance: 1. Lower In-Game Settings: Reduce graphics settings (Shadows, Textures, etc.) to the lowest possible. 2. Optimize Your Laptop: Ensure your laptop is in a cool, well-ventilated area and use a cooling pad. 3. Limit Background Processes: Close unnecessary applications running in the background. 4. Update Drivers: Make sure your graphics drivers are up-to-date. 5. Set Power Plan to High Performance: Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > High Performance. 6. Manage Startup Programs: Disable startup programs via Task Manager. 7. Check for Dust: Clean the laptop's vents and fans. 8. Adjust In-Game Resolution: Try lowering your game resolution. 9. Disable Full-Screen Optimization: Go to the VALORANT .exe file properties > Compatibility > Disable Full-Screen Optimizations. For further assistance, refer to the official Riot Games support here. If the problem persists, consider upgrading your hardware or consulting a professional technician.
