How to delete specific chunks of LOD to regenerate them
Mod works pretty well overall in my modpack but sometimes I get these black chunks. It seems to be tied to moving too fast through generated chunks.

known bug on 2.1.2, unknown cause i believe
visit the affected region and place or break a block, wait a bit, rejoin
if it gets really bad you can always delete the database and let it regenerate

how long would "a bit" be? on the order of like 30 seconds or 30 minutes?
like 15 seconds maybe
Gotcha gotcha
just wait till the thread pool tasks hits 0 in f3
so i do that, chill out in the chunk for a bit, then relog
Oh gotcha
yeah
that'll rebuild the section including lighting
I may be stupid
Where is the thread pool tasks thing in f3
bottom right
Oh
look up to prevent that
OH RIGHT
NOT LEFT
DUH
I think it's then tasks: 0?
(i have already broken the block and waited)
rejoin now
It...seems to have fixed without a relog somehow?
Oh whoops
The update is almost instant actually. breaking a block and flying away shows the LOD loading in correctly. I should probably rejoin anyway though
Relogging still has them as fixed, not shadowy anymore. Thank you so much!

glad to help
