Improve the quality of the LoDs?
I know the idea of this mod is to create low-level LoDs so that performance is kept high. But I seem to remember being able to adjust the "quality" of them in earlier DH versions? Am I mistaken or is this no longer a option? If it is, can someone point me in the right direction on where it is with the new DH menu layout?
Thanks in advance!

it's in the main page. up the quality preset
wouldn't recommend anything above high if you don't have a monster of a gpu and a boatload of vram
Is that the only location to do this? I was asking this on behalf of a friend as I recall them setting it to something above high and the LoD still -looks- low quality. I could be mistaken though.
there's more options if you go to advanced options -> graphics
We did go into there and try to further improve the quality using the advanced but we couldn't seem to make it much better quality.
I will have to reach out to them because I can't find the earlier point whilst he was streaming that he chose the high preset or whatever it was.
But here and onwards we are going through trying to tweak things;

Rock and stone, nothing else - spiderbombz_ on Twitch
spiderbombz_ went live on Twitch. Catch up on their Deep Rock Galactic VOD now.
are you referring to the lack of textures possibly
the lod renderer never supported textures but you can try messing with noise
He was messing with noise in the spot I linked to with that video
But he doesn't go back into the quality screen so I'll get in contact with them and investigate. Thanks for the guidance. I'll mark this as solved if it helps
Thanks for the assist attempt ❤️

Yeah, we were changing the wrong parts haha, thanks @Yeshi (GMT+2) .
They tried Extreme but crashed 😅 to be fair they only had 4GB ram assigned so it'll be matter of tweaking to get it correct.
Separately, was there a way to blacklist certain blocks or something so that a blue flower on grass in the distance doesn't make the grass almost look like a water block or "blue grass" ?
I think there was setting? But I can't find anything with a quick wander around the menu
you can disable "tint with avoided blocks" in advanced graphics
THERE we go, thanks! 🙂

is that renamed to "grass side" or something?
Oh, found it. Thaaanks once more
the grass fade thing is just to prevent grassy hills turning completely green
which looks pretty bad
Ah, fair.
