LOD loading from the wrong server
(Fabric 1.21, DH v2.1.2-a) so, I was using DH yesterday on a server i was running on my PC, no issues there, but when I went onto a different server (also ran on my PC) it seemed to use the LODs from the first server on the second one, I'm not sure how to change this as I joined both of them using the
localhost
IP but they were completely different servers, the closest I could get to an answer was with this answer in the FAQ, however, it wasn't anything to do with Multiverse so I'm not sure if that answer still applies to this or not

if you have multiple servers that share the same name in your server list this can happen
try renaming them
you can always delete the lod database and let it regenerate
/lodstored
Single Player: - Overworld:third time of the day forgetting yag is down.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether:.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End:.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions:.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer: -.minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
since i use CurseForge, would it be the
Distant_Horizons_server_data
folder for that instance?yes
so do i delete the
Distant_Horizons_server_data/localhost
folder or the Distant_Horizons_server_data/localhost/overworld
folder?either will work
you should add it to your server list with a unique name though
directly connecting to localhost will put lods for every server you host in the same file
i added servers with different names for the different servers and they both just use
localhost
, would that fix it?yeah
dh only uses the server name to differentiate them
