Does anyone have the OCBD ebay search?
Hi everyone!
I’ve seen an ebay search around that is good for finding ocbds. I need some new shirts for work, so I’d like to use it lol
Does anyone have it?

I haven't been able to find one, but here are a couple I put together that might be useful, there is some overlap - sorry!

not exhaustive since there are a trillion brands that make OCBDs but hopefully these are useful starts
Wait, how do you customize the searches like that?
Could you help me understand the question?
ebay has pretty good boolean search - https://community.ebay.com/t5/Buying/How-to-use-Boolean-operators-in-ebay-search/td-p/29941476
How to use Boolean operators in ebay search
writes: How can I use "or" "and" and "not" in searches. I have something I want and there are dozens of lengths they come in. I want only the ones that are 28" to 36". Why can't I search ** 28 OR 30 OR 32 OR 34 OR 36. Ebay seems to only give results that have all these words in it. It doesn't ...
So for these I just put
(ocbd, oxford)
as one query parameter, which means that it will search any listing that has either "OCBD" or "oxford" in the listing title.
Then I list the brands in a separate parameter in their own set of parentheses, e.g. (uniqlo, "brooks brothers")
The quotes mean that those words must appear together and in that order.
If I were to then use the query (ocbd, oxford) (uniqlo, "brooks brothers)
Ebay will then return results for listings that have any combination of those parameters in the listing title, e.g.:
- ocbd uniqlo
- oxford uniqlo
- ocbd "brooks brothers"
- oxford "brooks brothers"
(it could also return results matching uniqlo ocbd, uniqlo oxford, etc)
Within eBay, once you enter your query and select categories or update other filters, you can just copy the URL and share it out. Hope this helps! @Duffi think there's a limit to how many characters can fit inside ebay's search box; you can manually edit the url generated by the search to add more brands
you can add
%2C+"some+other+brand"
after the last brand name and before the end parenthesis, and ebay will include the extra brand into the searchWow, thank you! This is gonna be superbly helpful to me. I wonder if this works with jean sizes. Like, would I be able to do a search for: jeans (34x30, 34x32, etc)?
yes
Or would I have to write it out each time within the parentheses? (jeans 34x30, jeans 34x32), etc
you can include them in the query itself or there are waist size filters in eBay
you could do (jeans, pants, fatigues) ("34x30", "34x32") etc - not sure you'd need the quotes here actually
we may want to spin this off into another thread or something 🙂
Nice
Oh, shoot. You’re right. Sorry 😂
I've found the filters to struggle a lot tbh. Searching for "color 8 shell" in a size 8 is impossible. It just shows basically everything that's color 8
This is all what I was looking for. Thank you!
