Try removing sodium extra that has caused many other bugs so worth a try ig
Lol
Also sodium extra doesn't do anything btw
It just unlocks extra options
Idk man seems kinda shaderside
Try messing with the taa setting?
Ask xonk idk
Don't ping him tho
Or ping him
He's probably blissing the distanting horizons (real)
Try messing with the cloud shadow setting too
Seems like a contributing factor
Oh wait
What's your specs
ill give that a shot
yeah ik i just had it installed if i ever wanted to turn down smaller effects in the game but i end up leaving them on most of the time anyways
i thought it would be more the volumetric fog but disabling that didnt change anything. u also changed cloud heights and no difference
7800X3D, 32 GB 6000 MHz CL30, 4080
It won't be in the cloud settings I have bliss and all of it works fine even with me tampering with the cloud settings
Did it work?
nope
the most severe artifacting happens specifcally when im transitioning from walking to running
really weird bug
so i ran just the essential DH mods
still getting the flickering
i think it might be bliss or at least the in-dev version i have
or its something to do with DH or Iris
actually it cant be bliss cuz the flickering also occurs with complimentary as well
so it has to be either DH or iris
i cant imagine what else would be causing this
I have the same issue - flickering while changing to sprinting or walking. Disabling shaders stops the flickering. It is definitely a shaders issue.
It’s prob the dynamic fov causing the flickering
And the distortion effect of the portal looks like it’s making all the regular chunks stop rendering
Maybe downgrade Iris to 1.70?
Yea that is what I was going to suggest oringinally but thought differently
that version isnt available for 1.21
iris 1.7.2 and soidum 0.5.11 just released this morning tho
waiting on indium to be updated and i can report back
latest indium should work.

thats usually a good suggestion if the user is using sodium 0.5.8, so not in this case
just tried it and its throwing me the "incompatible version of sodium" error
ah, i guess thats why it should be marked as compatible
going to have to wait for comp to update it
update: issue still persists with the latest builds of sodium and iris
guess im just gonna have to live with it
