Distant Horizons needs Indium to work with Sodium
I have installed indium, distant horizons, and iris-sodium all for 1.20.4, this issue is encountered upon trying to start the game.

Get rid of optifine zip
I did and it still doesn’t work
and get the latest versions of indium and sodium
as well as latest version of dh
what if i’m trying to play on 1.20.4
you still need the latest version of 1.20.4 dh

No you need fabric loader not iris loader
ik it says iris-fabric but you need soley fabric

Downgrade iris to 1.7.0
And add back fabric api, if you haven't already

To fix this go to dh settings then graphics then rendering and set transparency to complete and restart your game
