No weather above a certain height?
I noticed if you go above a certain height in the world, weather particles/effects (rain, snow, etc) stop spawning, but the ground will still get covered in rain/snow as if it is happening.
I'm guessing minecraft has some arbitrary height restriction on where weather effects can spawn since it wasn't expecting something like DH to exist and require elevated world height to look great.
Is there anyway to fix this and have weather effects render at higher heights?

isnt that dependend on cloud height?
maybe it would work if you raised the clouds with a mod? not sure
oh interesting. I already have cloud height at max with shaders though
yeah no, increasing cloud height both in vanila game settings and in shader doesnt fix it
and same issue happens changing shaders or without shaders
so its some minecraft thing

Raise the snow falling/water freezing height limit.
I build 1024 meter tall maps. The problem I am having is the snow falling and water freezing heights are now way too low. looking for a more...
oof, unfortunate. I'm sure more people will notice it though as DH becomes more popular
