Distant Horizons Not Loading LOD's
After trying all the old faq solutions nothing has been working and my DH won't load any chunks. PLS HELP!

On my 8 core CPU it takes 15 minutes for 128 chunks, half an hour or so for 256, around 2 hours for 312 and 8 hours for 512
and it'll take upwards of 20 hours for 1024
I'd go for 312 at max
and that's already pushing it
default of 128 is usually more than enough

why does nobody here tell people that they can also fly around to make it go faster
Because that doesn't help, it chokes the CPU and causes the distant generator to batch and time out
the fastest way to load LODs is to afk in one spot, crank the CPU load and wait
it takes 8 hours for 512 chunks render distance, 15 minutes for 128
