Hello, @EugeneEls! You may be able to check the recent item turnover history by navigating to the customer service page through your Account settings and selecting Customer Service option at the bottom. You can navigate to customer service page and select Shortcut Tools > Currency Turnover > select UC option from top-right.
Please note that it is unfortunately not possible to return the spent UC. However, if you believe that your UC was deducted from your account without a reason, you may try to contact the in-game customer service for further assistance, and they should be able to look into this further....
