Well, discussing it with others helps imo. Have you tried teaching what you have understood already to somebody else? Or explaining it in as simple terms as possible to somebody else or perhaps in front of a mirror?
Understanding takes more than memorising or binging vids
I don't know if it's a thing here but vc study sessions have helped in the past personally
